Students will be able to write an 8–12 page academic research paper that integrates primary sources to support an original historical argument.

Sustained writing and drafting with teacher feedback. Purpose: Academic synthesis of the semester's work. DOK Level: 4.
Chunking & Checkpoints. Break the paper into 2-page "micro-submissions." Offer Speech-to-Text software for students with writing anxiety.
