Students will formulate a micro-policy recommendation to improve environmental sustainability within their school district or town.
What realistic changes can our town make to reduce its carbon footprint or waste generation?

1. Review: Reflect on the unit's local insights.
2. Design: Students work on drafting a "Green Brief" targeting a town official, proposing composting, solar additions, or mass-transit enhancements.
3. Peer Share: Pitch the ideas in small circles.
Purpose & DOK Level: Applied civic solution generation; DOK Level 4.
Option to build a visual infographic poster or draft a formal text policy brief.
A completed "Green Brief" policy proposal.
