Unit 5: Comparative Politics

Students will know how different political systems operate and respond to contemporary world events. Students will understand how political climates and media structures vary across different governments. Students will know how to analyze political change over time across distinct governmental frameworks.
Students will use internet resources to track and study real-world political developments globally. Students will engage in peer discussions to share and evaluate alternative global perspectives on governance. Students will construct comparative arguments using evidence gathered from varied multimedia sources.
