Lesson Objective
Students will be able to:
Create a unique name and logo for their political party.
Identify and define the target demographic for their political party.
Develop a party slogan and key messaging.
Research and analyze current political issues.
Formulate policy positions on key issues.
Create a campaign strategy.
Present their political party to the class in a persuasive manner.
Understand the role of third parties.
Understand the importance of funding, and how that effects political parties.
How do political parties impact the general public and national elections.
