Unit 3: Unit 3: Creating the Consistitution 1780s

Students will know that the Treaty of Paris (1783) formally ended the American Revolutionary War, and that Britain now formally recognizes the United States as its’ own country.

Students will begin to understand how a new country creates sets of laws to ensure a foundation is set in creating a new government.
