Lesson Objective

Students will be able to analyze how colonists reacted to the British control of the colonies leading up to the American Revolution.

Students will be introduced to propaganda in this lesson. They will also be introduced to the idea that dramatization and exaggeration of facts are often used to sway the opinion of the public.

Students can complete a See, Think, Wonder, rather than completing the document comparing the two different images of the Boston Massacre
