Planning and organizing, developing persuasive arguments, critical thinking.

Description: Students create and present project proposals.
Purpose: To foster student agency and promote active citizenship.
DOK Level: 4 (Creating).

Local community projects, national advocacy campaigns, examples of youth-led initiatives.

That projects must be large-scale to be impactful, that planning is unnecessary.

Provide project templates and checklists.
Offer a variety of project options (e.g., volunteering, advocacy, awareness campaigns).
One on one teacher conferences to help with project creation.
