Description: Introduction to civic concepts through discussion and visual representation.

Local community issues, national civic movements, historical examples of citizen action.

That civic involvement is limited to voting, that individual actions have no impact.

Visual learners: Graphic organizers, mind maps.
Auditory learners: Class discussions, group work.
Kinesthetic learners: Role-playing scenarios.
