This lesson serves as a review and opportunity for students to apply their knowledge. The purpose is to evaluate understanding and encourage higher-order thinking. (DOK Level 4: Analyze, Evaluate, Create)
Analyze current news related to elections, political parties, or campaign finance using the terminology and concepts learned in the unit.
Address any lingering confusion or misconceptions identified throughout the unit.

Challenge: Have students work in groups to analyze a current political issue through the lens of political parties, elections, and money in politics, and present their findings.
