A detailed look into Article 1 of the Constitution, and how both houses of Congress work, the rules they follow, and how laws are made.

Students will learn about the structure, function, and powers of the legislative branch of government. They will explore the legislative process, as well as the influence of citizens and political parties.

Students will research a problem, write a bill, discuss the bill with other students in a small group committee, and then try to get the law passed through a whole class vote.
