Four Freedoms

HS.SS.2C - 2C. Assess options for individual and collective action to address local, regional, and global problems by engaging in self-reflection, strategy identification, and reasoning.

Students will read excerpts from the League of Latin American Citizens, "World War II and Mexican Americans (1945)" and Charles H. Wesley's, "The Negro Has Always Wanted the Four Freedoms" in "What the Negro Wants (1944)" to analyze the goals of two different minority groups during WWII.

Teacher will guide discussion on the documents.
