Students will know the causes, conduct, and consequences of World War I and World War II, including shifts in power, economic instability, and mass atrocities. They will know how unresolved tensions contributed to global conflict.
Students will explain short- and long-term causes of conflict, analyze sources related to war and genocide, and evaluate the relative significance of causes and effects.
Students will complete multiple-choice questions, short-answer questions, and a full document-based question.
