Unit 5: Revolutions (c. 1750–1900)

Students will know the intellectual origins and global impacts of political and industrial revolutions. They will know how industrialization transformed production, governance, economic systems, and social structures.
Students will analyze ideological sources, explain causation in political and industrial change, and evaluate continuity and change over time. They will begin structured practice with document-based reasoning.
Students will complete multiple-choice questions, short-answer questions, a partial long-essay response, and a partial document-based question.
