What is the relationship between anatomy and physiology?
What are the levels of structural organization of the human body?
What are the necessary components to maintain life?
What is homeostasis, and why is it necessary to maintain life?

Students will be able to:
-define anatomy and physiology and describe their relationship to each other;
-identify each of the levels of structural organization and place them in correct order (smallest to largest, or vice versa);
-describe the characteristics of living organisms and the relative importance of each;
-identify the components of homeostatic control mechanisms, and the roles of negative and positive feedback in maintaining homeostasis
