Unit 6: Chapter 10 - Parametric Equations and Polar Coordinates

Students will understand parametric equations and their applications, polar coordinates and their applications, and will understand how to use calculus techniques with both parametric equations and polar coordinates.
Students will convert between parametric and Cartesian equations, graph parametric equations, apply calculus concepts with parametric equations, understand polar coordinates and be able to convert to Cartesian equations, graph polar equations, and apply calculus concepts to polar curves.
Students will demonstrate their learning of parametric equations and polar coordinates through formative and summative assessments, class discussions, and assigned problems.
