263B CALCULUS 2 (UCONN ECE)
1 credit | Grades: 9101112
This is a course for students with high-level aptitude and interest in mathematics and will include Transcendental functions, formal integration, polar coordinates, infinite sequences and series, vector algebra and geometry, with applications to the physical sciences and engineering. It is recommended especially for students who intend to major in mathematics, science, or engineering in college. Since calculus deals with the mathematics of change and motion, new processes of reason and calculation are developed. Comprehensive knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, and geometry is a necessity for success in calculus. Graphing calculator technology is required. Upon successful completion, college credit may be earned from the UCONN.
