Unit 1: Chapter 1 - Functions and Models
Duration of Days: 12
Students will know different ways to represent functions, be familiar with a catalog of basic functions, know how to create new functions from old functions, and understand exponential, logarithmic, and inverse functions.
Students will learn about functions, practice using functions and applying them to real-life examples, and demonstrate their knowledge through practice with problems from the book and collaboration with other students in the class.
Students will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of functions through collaboration with peers during class and performance on individual assessments.
