Lesson Objective
Students will review, prepare and take the Unit Assessment.
1. What is INPUT/OUTPUT Variables?
2. Write an ordered pair for a point on the Cartesian Plane.
3. Identify the Quadrant for given points.
4. How to create graphs with different scales.
5. Characteristic of Graphs including horizontal and vertical axis and intercepts and behaviors of graphs.
6. Interpret Graph with real world applications.
F.IF.4 For a function that models a relationship between two quantities, interpret key features of graphs and tables in terms of the quantities, and sketch graphs showing key features given a verbal description of the relationship.
The Cartesian plane is a two-dimensional coordinate system formed by the intersection of two perpendicular lines, the x-axis and the y-axis. The point of intersection is called the origin (0,0). The plane is divided into four quadrants numbered counterclockwise from I to IV. Each point on the plane is represented by an ordered pair (x,y), where x is the horizontal distance from the origin and y is the vertical distance.
