This course is an introduction to algebra and covers the following: Integers, expressions, linear equations, functions, and linear inequalities. It will prepare students with the foundational knowledge for success in Algebra 1. Credit will be awarded to students who complete high school courses in a Meriden Middle School when they attend Grade 9 at Maloney High School or Platt High School. By taking high school courses in middle school, students will have opportunities to earn college credits in high school.
