Unit 7: texture

Students will differentiate between implied (visual) and actual (tactile) texture, mastering the techniques required to replicate both in 2D and 3D media

Students explore the element of texture and create their own texture library. This library will consist of student created examples of implied texture and actual texture.

Students will apply the knowledge they learned in creating their exercises and examples to complete a piece of artwork that demonstrates real or implied texture.
