Gesture: The "Line of Action" that captures the spine's movement.
Anatomical Landmarks: Key bony points like the collarbone, elbows, and hips.
Center of Gravity: How to balance a figure so it doesn't look like it’s falling.
Foreshortening: How limbs look shorter when they point toward the viewer.
Gesture Sketching: Make quick, 1-minute drawings focused on energy and pose.
Form Study: Turn the body into 3D shapes (boxes and cylinders) for volume.
Sighting/Measuring: Use a pencil to check the scale of limbs vs. the torso.
The ability to use various drawing techniques in figure drawings.
