Students will understand that musical ideas can be generated and developed through exploration, improvisation, and interpretation. They will know that creative choices are influenced by experience, context, and expressive intent, and that revision and feedback improve artistic work.

Students will generate, improvise, arrange, and refine musical ideas through vocal exploration, solfège patterns, body percussion, and technology. They will develop interpretations of repertoire, collaborate with peers, and use feedback to revise and improve creative work.

Students demonstrate learning through improvisation, creative projects, rehearsal-based exploration, and reflective practice. Evidence includes recorded work, collaborative tasks, performance of original ideas, and application of feedback using established criteria.
