Unit 2: Perform

Students will understand how advanced choral performance is shaped through vocal technique, score study, expressive communication, and ensemble collaboration. They will understand how diction, tone color, phrasing, stylistic awareness, and musical independence contribute to expressive and technically accurate performance.

Students will rehearse and perform advanced choral repertoire using refined vocal technique and ensemble skills. They will apply music literacy, analyze scores and text, make interpretive decisions, refine performance through feedback, and contribute to rehearsal processes independently and collaboratively.

Students demonstrate learning through rehearsals, performances, vocal assessments, score analysis, self-reflection, peer critique, and student-led rehearsal contributions.
