-How to recognize and categorize films in the hero's journey genre

-Characters, plot, and themes from 2-3 hero's journey films (i.e. The Wizard of Oz, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Stand By Me, Shang Chi, Jurassic Park, The Hurt Locker, Shrek, The Island, etc.)
-How to write well-developed argumentative analysis paragraphs

-Apply their understanding of the hero's journey to films of their choice
