A personal essay is one way to convey important information about yourself to a reader, in this case likely a college admissions person.
Students will outline, compose and refine a personal essay of approximately 650 words which has the potential to be used for their college application.
Student essays will improve through revision and the end product will follow standard English conventions and inform the reader of positive aspects of the student's character.
