Unit 1: College/Senior Essay
Duration of Days: 10
Students will be able to write a well focused and organized essay that can be used for college and scholarship applications.
Students will complete the entirety of the writing process in order to produce a well thought out essay. Students will:
-Complete prewriting activities to brainstorm ideas
-Plan out their essay using graphic organizers
-Write the essay using proper format
-Revise essay using editing and revising tools
Students will write a cohesive essay they can use for college applications.
