This advanced college preparatory course strengthens students to the basic essential reading, writing, listening, viewing, speaking, and critical thinking skills that make one an effective reader, writer, and thinker. Throughout the year, students read and write for a variety of purposes, including personal narrative, literary analysis, response to literature, research, and persuasion.
